While photographing ocean waves, I experimented with both fast and slow shutter speeds. In this article, I am going to put some of the photos that I took in Florida in Dec 2018, using slow shutter speed of 1/20th of a second, with ISO fixed at 100, using my Nikon D7100 camera. For most part of the time, I used Nikkor 70-300 VR lens and of course a ND filter.

When the slow shutter speed is used, the blurred motion of the speed water flow add

a unique mood to the viewer. My primary intention was to capture the motion of water that our eyes cannot naturally see, by taking the advantage of some special features provided by latest DSLR's.
